Capilano Suspension Bridge
The Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of Vancouver's famous landmarks, with a remarkable wooden-planked bridge staged in a breath-taking West Coast rainforest. Located in the north end of the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Canyon Lookout Point features a deck cantilevered 300 feet above the river where heated tents can be utilized during most seasons throughout the year. Cinema 319
Located in historic Chinatown, the once-thriving Chinese Movie House has been newly renovated to become a modern state-of-the-art private theatre. The Asian-themed interior is inspired by its rich Chinatown past. The stylish reception area can accommodate up to 150 people. It is equipped with a full-service bar, multimedia equipment, and high speed Internet. The reception area will provide guests with a unique experience as it features a glass wall allowing them to view moves in the theatre.

Coal Harbour Community Centre
Located not far from the Coal Harbour Seawall, this progressive community centre has several spaces suitable for meetings, weddings and parties. Dazzle your guest with a beautiful view of Coal Harbour and the North Shore mountains. The community centre has rooms adequate for receptions between 20 to 100 people. If you are looking to hold a meeting, the Meeting Room can accommodate up to 20 people.

Commodore Ballroom
Located in the heart of Vancouver's entertainment district, the Commodore Ballroom is a 900-person concert hall boasting a 70-year history hosting international performers and festivals. Located in South Granville, The Diane Farris Gallery offers a modern and minimalistic exhibition space, fitting for a reception-type party. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classic Chinese Garden

Located in the heart of Chinatown, this intimate and unique garden is enclosed behind white decorative walls. False Creek Yacht Club
Located in close proximity to downtown Vancouver, The False Creek Yacht Club includes a lounge with magnificent views of Granville Island, False Creek, and English Bay. The Lounge will comfortably accommodate up to 90 people for a sit-down dinner or 150 people for a stand-up cocktail reception. The Boardroom is perfect for having small meetings as it can accommodate up to 14 people. Both facilities have well appointed interiors, making them ideal for many types of events including weddings, birthdays, conferences, and barbecues.

Granville Island Brewery
Granville Island is a cosmopolitan of galleries, local shops, restaurants, and the large public market. The Granville Island Brewery is a definite stop to host your next casual event. The cottage-like Taproom is characterized with a forty-foot ceiling with out-reaching wooden beams. Another distinguishing feature is the floor-to-ceiling window allowing guests to have a full-view of the pilot brewery. The Taproom can hold 120 people for a standing reception or seat 55 people for a sit-down dinner.

Located on the corner of Homer and Smithe Street, this fine-art gallery offers an array of traditional and contemporary paintings.

Heritage Hall
Built in 1914, this extravagant three-storey heritage building captivates 18th century architecture. Lavish structural designs such as ornamented pavilions, a working clock-tower and bell, a curved red marble staircase and roofing adorned with sophisticated stonework would be a great setting for an exquisite evening party. The main floor ballroom is characterized with a patterned tile floor, stained glass chandeliers, and hues of rose and cream. This venue is fully equipped with kitchen and media equipment. The Heritage Hall can accommodate 150 people for a seated dinner or 220 people for a cocktail party.

Jacana Contemporary Art Gallery
Located in Vancouver's South Granville neighborhood, this two-storey gallery offers a backdrop of abstract and eccentric artwork. The gallery offers a choice between two exhibition spaces. The first floor provides ample space for an 80-person reception or 40-person sit-down er. If you require additional space, extend your cocktail party to the second floor as it can accommodate an extra 40-45 people.

Mountain View Cemetery
Welcome to Celebration Hall, an elegant and contemporary gathering place on the sweeping grounds of historic Mountain View Cemetery. Through the large windows carefully placed to maximize natural light, or from a seat by the pond in the private courtyard, visitors to Celebration Hall can look out over grassy lawns and lush trees to downtown Vancouver and the snow-capped Coast Mountains. It’s a perfect setting not only for memorial services, but also for a wide range of other events, from corporate retreats, client appreciation events or employee incentive gatherings to film screenings and small concerts.

Oakridge Centre Auditorium
Oakridge Centre is an up-scale mall conveniently located on 41st Avenue and Cambie Street, not far from downtown Vancouver and the airport. The auditorium is equipped with a raised stage, microphone and podium, tables and chairs, and free parking. It provides 700 - 800 square feet of space for any social affair. This space allows a maximum capacity of 150 people for either a sit-down meal or reception.

Orpheum Theatre
One of the Vancouver Civic Theatres, this historic venue provides a grandeur atmosphere with its impressive painted domed ceiling. Built in 1927, the Orpheum was the leading concert hall on the Pacific Coast. In 1974, the theatre underwent a restoration project for its interior. Located in downtown Vancouver on Smithe and Seymour Street, it is the established home for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. The lobby space can comfortably entertain a reception party of 50 -100 guests.

Performance Works
Located in Granville Island, Performance Works is a theatre showcasing Vancouver's talented performances and productions. It was built initially as a machine shop in the 1920s. Although the exterior provides an industrial impression, the interior illuminates a sense of nature. The lobby is furnished with a full-length glass wall, high wooden-beams, navy-blue walls, and a mural of a forest. It accommodates 300 people for a reception or 240 people for a sit-down dinner.

Pendulum Gallery
Located in the HSBC Building in downtown Vancouver, this public gallery offers a dramatic setting that will be unforgettable. The building is a multi-storey structure characterized with a visually stunning giant pendulum. The lobby is spacious and airy, superb for large parties. The gallery can accommodate up to 150 people for a reception.

Queen Elizabeth Theatre
One of the Vancouver Civic Theatres, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre is home to the Vancouver Opera and Ballet British Columbia. Built in 1959, this world-renowned establishment is known for its brilliant 70-feet wide proscenium arched stage. Glass set-in framed panels characterize the front, as well as, a large circular Planetarium. The building has flexible space in its orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony levels to accommodate a reception of 50 - 900 people. Guests can explore the local artwork in the Mezzanine Art Gallery.

Riverside Grand Ballroom Located in Richmond, the newly built Riverside Grand Ballroom offers a luxurious setting. The exterior dazzles guests with a garden, waterfall, and a driveway canopy. The entrance is highlighted with a 35-foot ceiling, indoor waterfall, a grand curving staircase, large chandelier, and elevator. Guests can enjoy themselves on the hardwood dance floor alongside a riverside view. The ballroom can host between 150 - 500 people.

Rocky Mountaineer Station
A former CN locomotive maintenance building, this Rocky Mountain Station maintains a classic exterior while offering a contemporary and urban interior. Restored in the mid-1950s, the 20 000 square feet reception space features a full-length glass wall viewing anticipating trains, a 35 feet vaulted ceiling, walls with exposed timber and brick, and three overhead doors for a drive-in entrance. Located in False Creek, the station accommodates 994 guests for a sit-down dinner or 1225 guests for a reception.

Roedde House
Built in 1893, this restored Victoria home deliveries a warm and intimate setting for your special occasion. The décor represents middle-class life with period furniture, paintings, artifacts, and an Edwardian garden. The public portion of the house consists of a parlour, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, study, and a gazebo. Listed as a heritage house, it is located in Barclay Heritage Square; a site that comprises nine historic houses dating from 1890 to 1908. The Roedde House can facilitate 45 people for a reception or 12 - 14 people for a sit-down dinner.

Salons of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Located on Hamilton Street between the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and Vancouver Playhouse, this stylish and sleek venue offers flexible spacing for parties of 40 - 220 people. The 170 square meter main salon can be divided into two or three smaller rooms using soundproof partitions. The salon has floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors with area carpets, and contemporary furnishing.

Science World
One of Vancouver's most renowned landmarks, this glittering globe is situated in the center of town, on the east end of The Sea Wall boardwalk, and is home to the Omnimax Theatre. With its special feature exhibits, and its colorfully modernistic décor, this venue is certain to enthrall the child in us all.

Scotiabank Dance Centre
The Scotiabank Dance Centre is a contemporary venue, with industrial fixtures, located in the heart of the downtown business district and close to public transport. The 32,000 sq ft, seven storey, glass-enclosed building houses five spacious studios and a production/performance studio, administrative offices and other facilities. All six studios are two stories high with sprung floors and air conditioning. Other features of the Dance Centre include a Boardroom with 16 chairs, table, wipe board and pin boards, projector screen and telephone. Also, the centre provides an on-site Scotiabank branch with ATM (on Granville Street) and Wheelchair access throughout except for two studios on Level 4.

Shadbolt Centre for the Performing Arts
The community facility was built in 1995 to honor the renowned artist of Jack Shadbolt and writer Doris Shadbolt. The centre offers two theatres, six studios, rehearsal rooms, meeting rooms, pottery studios and an art shop. The architecture was built to capture the beautiful natural landscape of Deer Lake Park located in Burnaby. Studio 103 has a 120-banquet capacity with access to Deer Lake Park, a gas fireplace, and a beautiful park view. The two-storey Atrium has a cathedral style ceiling of Douglas fir, stonework walls, and 25-foot windows. Both the Atrium and Park View Lounge can host up to 250 people for a banquet.

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts
Versatile and elegant, this multi-faceted facility is well suited for a variety of performances and events. Designed by the award winning firm of Bing Thom Architects, this unique venue is earning a glowing international reputation as a spectacular, medium sized venue for local and visiting arts groups and conference organizers.

The Museum of Anthropology
Situated atop the scenic campus of The University of British Columbia, this spectacular building overlooks the mountains and the sea. This venue designed by architect Arthur Erikson, holds one of the world's finest collections of art by the Northwest Coast Peoples. Based on the authentic post and beam structure of the aboriginal people, complete with huge totem poles and feast dishes, the Museum of Anthropology is an ideal venue choice to incorporate an educational excursion and an Authentic Wolfpack experience.

The Round House
The Roundhouse is located in the centre of one of the largest urban experiments in history, transforming a few hundred acres of mostly vacant lots into one of North America's densest and most diverse urban sites. Located on the former Expo site, the venue is only a few minutes walk from buses and the Stadium Skytrain and underground parking is also available.

The Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage
Originally built as a movie cinema, the newly renovated heritage venue presents live theatre productions. The Bruce Milley Lounge in the theatre can accommodate a maximum capacity of 40 people. To entertain your guests, the art deco atmosphere will surely create a nogslagia feel of a buzzing movie night in the 1930s.

UBC Boathouse
A special facility that supports UBC's leading Rowing programs and the Richmond Rowing and Padding Centre, the UBC Boathouse offers a distinctive ambiance for your next event. Located by the shores of Richmond, the unique boathouse offers a panoramic view of the natural environment, along with a brilliant view of the North Shore Mountains from its outside viewing decks. The boathouse can offer a stand-up reception of 192 people or a seated event of 150 people.

UBC Medical Alumni Centre
This west coast style building with skylights and open concept design is located at the corner of 12th Avenue and Heather Street, near Vancouver Hospital. It is elegant and spacious, secure and quiet, with a private courtyard. The Centre can hold 90 people for a banquet and 200 people for a reception. There is a piano, fireplace, kitchen, bar and covered outdoor area with patio furniture. Wheelchair accessible. Hall rental prices range from $205 to $775.

Vancouver Art Gallery
The Vancouver Art Gallery is situated in the heart of downtown Robson Street. A popular and convenient venue for evening functions, envision your guests strolling through the high arched doorways with a nice glass of wine in hand, while viewing Vancouver's own Emily Carr Exhibit. Vancouver International Film Centre
